AGRO-MAP is recruiting professional nurserymen to manage these sites (Soubré, lakota, Daloa, Gagnoa, San-Pedro ect) for the production of forest and fruit trees for shade tree use. The company specializes in managing sustainability projects and providing services in the fields of agriculture, forestry, the environment and climate change. For the operationalization of these agroforestry and reforestation activities, the nursery technician will be responsible for monitoring, supervising and carrying out forest and fruit seedling production activities at identified sites in the interior of the country. The capacities and species to be produced will depend on the project's objectives and the needs of customers in each zone. The nursery technician will perform these tasks under the supervision of the company's Technical Manager. Under the authority of the company's Technical Manager, she will be responsible for : - Implement the technical itineraries for the production of forest and fruit seedlings; - Monitor and maintain the forest and fruit seedlings until they are removed; - Carry out the activities with the participation of the local communities; - Respect the calendar of activities identified on each site; - Plan the activities linked to the production of forest and fruit seedlings; Additional tasks: Any other task required by the project activities.
Job profile:
At least 2/3 years of higher education; - Good moral character and knowledge of the rural environment; - Good organizational skills and ability to work in a team; ability to take initiatives; - Proven experience in seedling production; - Mastery of production cycles for forest and fruit species; - Botanical knowledge is an asset; - Mastery of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); - Solid ability to prioritize and monitor several tasks simultaneously; - Immediate availability.
