Created in 2018, AGRO-MAP is a company specializing in the design and implementation of sustainability projects in the forestry, environmental, and agricultural fields with a socio-economic impact for beneficiaries. It is committed to combating the effects of climate change and preserving biodiversity through Nature-Based Solutions (NBS). It designs and implements projects for the production of forest and fruit seedlings, reforestation, agroforestry, participatory management plans, as well as carbon and biodiversity projects in Côte d'Ivoire and the sub-region. As part of the implementation of its activities, AGRO-MAP is recruiting Agricultural Technicians (AT).

Main mission

- Raise awareness and popularize innovations among producers and/or communities
- Carry out socio-economic surveys on farms and/or in communities;
- Map and chart community plots and/or producers' plots in rural areas;
- Coach farms on agroforestry in cocoa farming;
- Manage and carry out planting and seedling monitoring activities;
- Additional tasks: Any other tasks required for project activities.

Profile required

The agricultural technician will :
- Have a minimum of Bac + 2 in agriculture, forestry, environment, natural resource management, and any other related field
- Good moral character;Good organizational and teamwork skills;Ability to take initiative ;
- Experience in agriculture, agroforestry and forestry;
- Good knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.);
- Ability to multi-task ;
- Have at least an A license and know how to ride the motorcycle;
- Immediate availability;
- Previous experience of working in a rural environment;
- Advanced knowledge of GIS and a smart phone would be an asset;
- Know how to write a perfect activity report.
