BACKGROUND
As part of its international reforestation activities, Reforest'Action, a French social enterprise, has teamed up with Ivorian company AGROMAP to help cocoa producers create sustainable agroforestry systems.
This project will reconcile trees and crops to create a microclimate conducive to agricultural development. By restoring degraded areas of the eastern forest islands, local communities in Agnéby-Tiassa, Indénié Djuablin, Mé and Gontougo are also improving their resilience in the face of climate change.
