
BACKGROUND
Given the predominant role played by forests in coffee and cocoa production, the coffee and cocoa industry is committed to preserving forest resources.
With this in mind, the Conseil du Café-Cacao is encouraging reforestation through the implementation of a project to help restore forest cover, particularly in areas occupied by cocoa and coffee orchards.
As part of the implementation of this project, AGRO-MAP was selected to produce and supply forest seedlings for agroforestry and reforestation in the regional delegations of the Conseil du Café-Cacao (CCC).
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
Produce and deliver 11,400,000 forest and fruit seedlings to growers in various regional delegations.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

Set up and manage 200 production sites close to producers;

Produce 11,400,000 forest and fruit plants;

Distribute 11,400,000 mature and vigorous plants to growers ;
EXPECTED RESULTS

200 functional nursery sites have been set up close to growers;

11,400,000 forest and fruit plants have been produced between 2021 and 2025;

11,400,000 mature and vigorous forest and fruit plants were distributed to growers;
